Here are some reviews of The Cottage Inn via the Mackinac Island page on Facebook:

-- All of the girls in our family spent the weekend there for Mother's Day last year! The rooms were gorgeous, the breakfast was delicious and it was close to everything! We loved it!

-- We stayed there last year -- it was beautiful, and the innkeepers are very sweet.

-- This spring I stayed at the Cottage Inn with 5 friends. It is a fantastic b & b and we all enjoyed our stay there. It is located on the back street, close to the fort and restaurants, etc. At 10 pm "Taps" was played at the fort and it was very heartwarming-brought tears to your eyes! I would definitely stay there again.

-- Cottage inn is wonderful. Spent a week there for my honeymoon!

-- We have stayed here the last 2 summers! It is VERY cute and charming. Breakfast was ALWAYS excellent and we enjoyed sitting on the porch with our coffee chatting with other travelers. It's a GREAT place to stay.

-- Stayed there two summers ago...I think the hosts were the best part. Plus sitting on the porch during a downpour, drinking beer and enjoying a pizza made by the grocery store/deli which is just behind the Cottage Inn - that was the best memory of all! This place is affordable!

-- My husband surprised me with a surprise mini-honeymoon there when we got married in 2001. It was the first year they were open...I LOVED it!!! We've been back twice since then. It's clean, airy, decorated perfectly but still feels modern. Perfectly located just off the main "drag" but super-convenient and you can open the windows and listen to the clippety-clop of the horses! It's my favorite place on the island so far...
