The inn, built at the turn of the century as a private home, has been updated to include all modern conveniences including air conditioning, wireless internet, flat-screen LCD TVs with cable and private baths while retaining all the traditional ambiance.

    -- I really can't be objective about this but I will always stay at the Market Street Inn, it's a great location, the house is wonderful and your every whim is catered to. Now, why I can't be objective, I was raised on Mackinac Island, my family lived there from the 1860s until 1988, and the Market Street Inn was ... my family home, and we owned the house from the time my Dad bought it until I sold it in 1988. I recommend it heartily and I am looking forward to being up there in July next summer to celebrate my 65th birthday in the house.
